Terms and Conditions
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
1.
Accommodation contracts and related agreements entered into by this hotel with guests shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established customs.

In the event that this hotel agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws, regulations and custom, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 (Application for accommodation contract)

A person wishing to apply for a contract of accommodation at this hotel shall provide the following information to this hotel
1 Name of the guest
2Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
3. Accommodation charge
4Other matters deemed necessary by this hotel

In the event that a guest requests to continue his/her stay beyond the date of stay stipulated in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during his/her stay, this hotel shall treat such request as a new application for a contract of accommodation at the time such request is made.
Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contract, etc.)

The accommodation contract shall be concluded when this hotel has accepted the application as described in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when this hotel proves that it did not accept the application.

When an accommodation contract has been concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, an application fee determined by this hotel within the limit of the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay shall be paid by the date designated by this hotel.

The deposit shall first be appropriated to the room charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if a situation arises where the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, the deposit shall be appropriated in the order of compensation for penalties, and any balance shall be returned upon payment of the charges pursuant to Article 12.

In the event that the application fee as specified in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated by this hotel in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective. However, this shall apply only in the event that this hotel has notified the guest to that effect when designating the date for payment of the application fee.

No one other than the guest is allowed to enter the room. If a friend or other person enters the room, it shall be deemed as an overnight stay, and the guest shall be charged the room charge as stipulated.
Article 4 (Special clause that does not require payment of the application fee)
1.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, this hotel may accept a special agreement not to require payment of the application fee as set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article after the conclusion of the contract.

In the event that this hotel does not require payment of the deposit as set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the date for payment of said deposit when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, it shall be deemed that this hotel has complied with the special agreement set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 (Refusal to enter into an accommodation contract)

This hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases
1 When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these general terms and conditions.
2 When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
3When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay at the hotel is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the stay.
4When it is clearly recognized that the person who intends to stay is a person with a contagious disease.
5When a person is requested to bear a burden exceeding a reasonable range with regard to accommodation.
6When the accommodation cannot be arranged due to a natural disaster, breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
7When the person seeking accommodation is likely to cause inconvenience to other guests due to intoxication, etc. (7) When the person seeking accommodation is extremely disturbing to other guests.
8When the person seeking accommodation is a crime syndicate, a member of a crime syndicate, a group related to crime syndicates (including corporations), or any other antisocial force (hereinafter referred to as “crime syndicate, etc.”).
9 When the person seeking accommodation is a juridical person or other organization in which Boryokudan-in etc. controls business activities or serves as an officer (including major executives), or a person related to such a juridical person or organization.
10When the person seeking accommodation makes violent, threatening, blackmailing, or intimidating unreasonable demands of the facility or facility staff, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range, or when it is recognized that a similar act has been committed in the past.
Article 6 (The guest’s right to cancel the contract)

The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making an offer to this hotel.

In the event that the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to him/her (except in the event that this hotel has designated the date for payment of the deposit and requested payment thereof pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 2, and the guest has cancelled the accommodation contract prior to such payment), this hotel shall notify the guest of such cancellation in accordance with the provisions of appended table 2. ), a penalty charge will be applied in accordance with the provisions listed in Appended Table 2. However, in the event that this hotel accepts the special contract stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1, it is only when this hotel has notified the guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the guest cancels the accommodation contract in accepting such special contract.
3.
In the event that the guest does not arrive at the hotel by 10:00 p.m. on the day of the stay (or 2 hours after the estimated time of arrival, if such time has been specified in advance), this hotel may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest and treat the same as if the guest had cancelled the contract.

Currently, the hotel does not offer any special measures to change or refund accommodation charges due to the new coronavirus.
Article 7 (Right of this hotel to cancel the contract)
1
This hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases
(1) When it is recognized that the guest is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such an act.
2 When it is clearly recognized that the guest is a person with a contagious disease.
(3) When the guest is requested to bear a burden exceeding a reasonable range in relation to the accommodation.
(4) When the hotel is unable to accommodate the guest due to a force majeure such as a natural disaster.
(5) When there is a risk of disturbing other guests due to drunkenness, etc., of the person who intends to stay overnight. (5) When a person who intends to stay at the hotel is intoxicated, etc., and is likely to cause inconvenience to other guests.
6. When a guest does not comply with the prohibitions of the hotel’s rules of use (limited to what is necessary for fire prevention), such as smoking in the bedroom, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc. (limited to what is necessary for fire prevention).
7. When the person who intends to stay at the hotel is a crime syndicate, a member of a crime syndicate, an organization (including a corporation) related to crime syndicates, or a person related to such an organization, or any other antisocial force (hereinafter referred to as “crime syndicate, etc.”).
8 When the person who intends to stay is a juridical person or other organization in which Boryokudan-in etc. control business activities or serve as officers (including key executives) or their related persons.
9 When the person seeking accommodation makes violent, threatening, blackmailing, or intimidating unreasonable demands of the facility or facility staff, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range, or when it is recognized that a similar act has been committed in the past.

When this hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the provision of the preceding paragraph, the hotel shall not charge the guest for accommodation services, etc. that the guest has not yet received.
Article 8 (Accommodation Registration)
1.
The guest shall register the following items at the time of reservation
1 Name, age, gender, address and occupation of the guest
2For a foreigner, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry
3Departure date and scheduled departure time
4Other items deemed necessary by this hotel

When a guest intends to pay the charges in accordance with Article 12 by means of a traveler’s check, hotel voucher, credit card, or other means that can be substituted for currency, the guest shall present them in advance at the time of registration in accordance with the preceding paragraph.
Article 9 (Hours of use of guest rooms)
1.
Guests may use the hotel’s guest rooms from 15:00 on the day of check-in to 10:00 on the day of check-out.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel may accept the use of a guest room outside the hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges shall apply
3,000 yen per room per hour (excluding consumption tax). However, any hours less than one hour shall be rounded up to one hour.
Article 10 (Compliance with Usage Regulations)
1.
Guests shall comply with the rules of use established by the hotel and placed in each guest room while in the hotel.
Article 11 (Business Hours)
1.
The business hours of the main facilities of this hotel will be posted in various places and in the service guide in the guest room.

The hours in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary or unavoidable. In such cases, notice will be given by appropriate means.
Article 12 (Payment of Charges)

The breakdown of accommodation charges, etc. to be paid by the guest and the method of calculation thereof shall be in accordance with the items listed in appended table 1.

All payments of accommodation charges, etc., as set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be made in advance by credit card.

Accommodation charges shall be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay in the room after this hotel has provided the room to the guest and made it available for his/her use.
Article 13 (Liability of this hotel)
1.
In the event that this hotel causes damage to the guest in the performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, or in the event of non-performance of such agreements, this hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, this shall not apply when the damage is not caused by reasons attributable to this hotel.
Article 14 (Treatment in the event that the hotel is unable to provide the contracted room)
1.
In the event that this hotel is unable to provide the contracted guest room, this hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, arrange for other accommodation under the same conditions as far as possible.
Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Articles, etc.)
1 Due to the fact that this hotel does not have a front desk, it is not possible to keep luggage at the hotel.
Article 16 (Storage of Guests’ Luggage or Personal Effects)

Due to the fact that this hotel does not have a front desk, it is not possible to keep luggage before check-in and after check-out. If you mail your baggage to the hotel in advance, it will be automatically returned by the shipping company as there is no front desk to receive it.

If a guest’s baggage or personal belongings are left at the hotel after the guest has checked out, and the owner of the baggage or personal belongings is found, the hotel shall contact the owner and ask for his/her instructions. However, if the owner’s instructions are not given, or if the owner cannot be identified, the hotel will keep the baggage for 7 days from the time of discovery, after which it will be destroyed.

In the case of the preceding two paragraphs, the responsibility of this hotel for the safekeeping of the guest’s baggage or personal belongings shall conform to the provisions of paragraph 1 of the preceding article in the case of paragraph 1, and to the provisions of paragraph 2 of the same article in the case of the preceding paragraph.
Article 17 (Responsibility for parking)

When a guest uses the parking lot of this hotel, regardless of whether or not the key of the vehicle is deposited, this hotel rents a space and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle.
Article 18 (Guest Responsibility)
1.
In the event that this hotel suffers damages due to the intentional or negligent act of a guest, said guest shall compensate this hotel for such damages.
